What should I do?Īvid NEXIS metadata SSDs are used in all Avid NEXIS Engines (Enterprise and PRO) and the System Director Appliance (SDA) to store System Director and Storage Manager file system metadata that is critical to the correct operation of the system.Īvid has identified an issue with Avid NEXIS software versions 7.3.x to 2018.3 that prevents correct reporting and alerts for metadata SSD status. I discovered one of the 2 SSD drives in my Avid NEXIS had failed but the Management Console did not report it.
